We're opening our doors to freelance golf professionals who want to coach from our indoor facility in the heart of Birmingham. This isn't an employed position: it's flexible access to professional coaching facilities, the technology and a year-round playing environment, with the potential to become involved in our wider coaching programmes.
Established pro with a client base, or developing coach after more experience: either way, we're interested in how we can work together.

Passionate, professional and enthusiastic coaches
We're interested in hearing from coaches who want to help golfers of all abilities improve and enjoy the game.
Qualified PGA Professionals
Established professionals looking for additional teaching space, more flexibility or a new environment in which to grow their coaching business.
PGA Assistant Professionals
Coaches looking to expand their teaching activity, build their client base and gain experience across different types of golfers.
PGA Trainees
Developing professionals interested in additional coaching experience alongside their existing PGA training commitments, subject to the requirements of their training programme.
We welcome enquiries from professionals already working at golf clubs, driving ranges, academies or independently. You don't necessarily need to leave your current position to explore coaching at SKRATCH.

We're developing programmes designed to introduce more people to golf and help existing golfers improve. Depending on experience, suitability and programme requirements, there may be opportunities to become involved in:

Introducing younger players to golf and helping them progress.
Beginner coaching
Creating welcoming experiences for people discovering golf for the first time.
Individual lessons
Delivering personalised coaching to golfers of all standards.
Corporate golf experiences
Supporting business events, team-building activities and group coaching.
Group clinics and specialist sessions
Developing coaching experiences around specific skills or player groups.
Participation in these programmes is arranged separately and is not guaranteed as part of a freelance coaching agreement.

Get in touch
Complete the enquiry form and tell us about your coaching experience, qualifications and what you're looking to achieve.

Let's have a conversation
We'll discuss your coaching ambitions, availability and how you would like to use the facilities.
- 03
Agree your arrangement and start
We'll explain the simulator booking process, coaching rates, venue requirements and freelance coaching agreement. Once agreed, you can book coaching sessions at SKRATCH, subject to availability.
All professionals must hold appropriate qualifications, insurance and any safeguarding credentials relevant to their coaching activities.
