Terms & conditions

Simulator bookings

• All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your slot.
• All prices and timings are stated during the booking process.
• We recommend booking in advance where possible to avoid disappointment on the day.
• Our simulators allow a maximum of 6 players per bay. Larger groups are required to book additional simulators.
• Online bookings are card or gift card payment only. If your gift card has insufficient funds to complete a transaction online, contact info@skratch-golf.co.uk and a member of the team will assist you.
• All online bookings are taken by a third-party booking provider. SKRATCH Indoor Golf Limited stores no credit or debit card details.

Group bookings

• Bookings for groups of more than 6 guests require a 50% non-refundable deposit, payable at the time of booking, to secure the booking.
• The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the event. Once the final balance has been paid, it is non-refundable.
• If the booking is cancelled more than 14 days before the event date, any payments made (including the final balance) will be credited to the lead booker's SKRATCH GOLF account for use against a future booking.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date are not eligible for a refund or account credit.
• Any account credit issued must be used within 12 months of the original event date.

Cancellations & refunds (bay bookings)

• To receive a refund you must give us 7 days' notice of cancellation.
• We can change your booking with 72 hours' notice, once, subject to availability. Once rebooked and a new confirmation email has been issued, a later refund cannot be offered.
• No refunds or booking amendments are offered for no-shows.
• Our payment providers advise refunds take 5 to 10 working days to appear on your statement.
• Because bookings are for a leisure activity on a specific date, the 14-day cooling-off right that applies to some online purchases does not apply (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28(1)(h)); the cancellation terms above are the ones that apply to your booking. This does not affect your other statutory rights.

Venue use

• Golf balls provided by SKRATCH must be used at all times to protect our screens from damage. We reserve the right to remove players not using appropriate equipment.
• Adult right-handed clubs and a limited range of left-handed and smaller clubs are available free of charge. Premium clubs may be available at a charge. You are welcome to bring your own clean clubs; SKRATCH accepts no responsibility for damage to or loss of your equipment, howsoever caused.
• Anti-social, dangerous or illegal actions will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove you from the venue should your behaviour be anti-social, dangerous or illegal.

Gift cards

• Gift vouchers can be redeemed at the venue as part or full payment (exclusions apply).
• Treat your voucher as cash: lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.
• Vouchers expire 6 months from purchase, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used to pay for lessons and packages. No change or cash refunds will be given.

Golf tuition

Golf tuition at SKRATCH is provided by third-party PGA Professionals and coaches who have entered into an agreement with SKRATCH Indoor Golf Limited and warrant to uphold our Code of Conduct. Individuals providing tuition without a formal agreement will be asked to leave the venue and may be prevented from making future bookings. Under 16s & alcohol

• Under 16s require adult supervision after 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays. You are responsible for any under 16s in your party.
• We operate the Challenge 25 policy. If you look under 25, you will be asked to prove you are over 18 when buying alcohol, so please bring a valid form of ID.

Promotions & competitions

SKRATCH may run promotions and competitions throughout the year and reserves the right to amend or withdraw any promotion or competition without prior notification. Promotions apply only to standard prices and cannot be used with any other discount, offer or promotion. Certain promotions may require proof of age, identification, a coupon or a voucher; without these the promotional rate or prize cannot be claimed. Each promotion can be redeemed once per person.

Waiver & release of liability

Playing golf with real clubs and balls within a confined space is a controlled risk activity and players do so at their own risk. Guidance is provided at each simulator and we require you to read it before playing: it is there for your enjoyment and safety.

• SKRATCH cannot be held responsible for issues arising from misuse, failure to follow the provided guidance or failure to use reasonable common sense, nor for damage to personal items.
• By taking part in activities at SKRATCH you declare that you understand SKRATCH takes all appropriate precautions to prevent accidents, and you agree to take all steps to avoid accidents or damage to our property. Damage caused by behaviour SKRATCH deems reckless will be charged to the customer.
• You confirm you have understood these terms, are responsible for communicating them to all members of your party, and are sufficiently fit and healthy to take part in golfing activities.
• You consent that in the event of any illness or accident, treatment can be administered to you.
• You agree to follow any safety rules set out for your own safety.

Lost property

Think you've left something behind? Email info@skratch-golf.co.uk. We hold lost property for one month, so check sooner rather than later.

The boring but important bits

• Force majeure: SKRATCH will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control.
• Insurance: Public Liability Insurance and Employers' Liability Insurance for SKRATCH Indoor Golf Limited is in place and will remain in place whilst trading.
• Data protection: no credit or debit card details are stored by SKRATCH Indoor Golf Limited. For how your personal data is handled, see our Privacy Notice.
