Girls Get Into Golf
A free first go at golf for girls who have never played.
- Thursday 29 October
- Heart of England School, Balsall Common
- 3 sessions of 90 minutes
- Free · 72 places

Golf might just be their next thing. They just need the chance to try it.
This October half term, we're creating a completely free girls' golf experience designed for those who have never played before.
No clubs needed. No experience needed. No pressure.
Just 90 minutes of fun across three different experiences: golf simulator games, chipping challenges and putting challenges.
We're working with Warwickshire Golf to make golf more accessible and give more girls the opportunity to pick up a club for the very first time. 72 free places.
In partnership with Warwickshire Golf.

Three stations, all games
Simulator games
Hit real shots at a screen that shows where the ball went. Closest to the pin, longest drive, that sort of thing.
Chipping challenge
Short shots at targets, and usually the quickest to get the hang of.
Putting challenge
Green, hole, ball. A team game to finish, with a winner.

Pick a session and book a place
A parent or guardian signs up. It takes a minute, there is nothing to pay, and we only ask for what we need to run the day.
Questions?
Good to know
Questions parents ask
- Does she need her own clubs?
- No. Clubs are provided at every station. There is nothing to buy or bring.
- What should she wear?
- Whatever she can move in. Trainers, leggings or joggers and a t-shirt are ideal. We will confirm anything else in your booking email.
- Has she got to have played before?
- The opposite. This is for girls who have never played. If she has had a go before she is still welcome, but the day is pitched at first-timers.
- Do parents stay?
- We will confirm the arrangements for parents and guardians before the day, once they are agreed with the school. They will be in your booking email.
- Where is it? Is it at SKRATCH?
- No, this one is at Heart of England School in Balsall Common, not at our venue in the Jewellery Quarter. Directions come with your booking email.
- How much does it cost?
- Nothing. All 72 places are free, thanks to our partnership with Warwickshire Golf.
- What happens after the session?
- If she wants to keep going, we will help you find her a club in Warwickshire. People from local clubs will be there on the day to talk it through, and if you tick the box on the form we will send you the details afterwards. No obligation either way.
